Line Upon Line

Here's a lesson in love and forgiveness for you.

A 50-year-old woman in Germany says she's forgiven her 26-year-old boyfriend after he bit her nose off.

The woman, who has undergone six operations to build a synthetic nose, said, "I still love this man. He was just drunk."

Sounds somewhat familiar, doesn't it?

That's the power of love.

Anyway, the judge -- in an attempt to take a bite out of crime -- wasn't quite as forgiving. He sentenced the man to 18 months in jail.
